 Hi, I am Lynn Tabor.  I am a self taught website designer.  I started playing with websites back in 1998.  I started with a free website through yahoo.  I was reading through an 800 page book one day when my husband came home and asked, "What are you doing with that book?"  I told him that I wanted to have a website of our family that we could share with out of town friends and family.

He then bought me MS Front Page, which was a huge sanity saver!

Domain purchase: 

The first step in creating a web site is to secure your domain name. Domain registrar’s offer both domain registration and hosting packages. One of the better registrar’s in the market is GoDaddy.com.

  • Domain registration - $8.95/year (requires a credit card) (discounts are available when you purchase a hosting package).
  • Hosting packages – plans range from $3.99/mo to $14.99/mo (requires a credit card), (discounts are available for 12 or 24 month commitment).
  • Packages include email accounts (from 1 to 2000 addresses based on hosting package).

Web Design:
